ATD is able to engineer and manufacture high quality furniture for both domestic and contract use. We are not traditional upholsters, our customers are design houses and high end furniture retailers who are looking for something ‘a bit different’ to add value and exclusivity to their own product range.
Much of our work in this sector has started as an enquiry from a product designer who has an innovative idea but doesn’t know exactly how to bring that idea to fruition. Working together as a team, we have brought these concepts to life, using our expertise to develop a final product that is comfortable and durable as well as looking right.
An example of this is the ‘oof box’ – a sound proofed cabinet that is being installed into communal areas of Britain’s airports to allow passengers to make their telephone calls or work on their computer in private.
