Facing an engineering challenge to produce a high quality yet lightweight component led to some innovative thinking for the team. The solution was found in 3D metal printing and the start of a joint project with industrial 3D printing experts, Eos Additive Minds. ATD now has two EOS M 290 metal 3D printers installed at its unit in Warwick. The EOS Additive Minds team worked closely with ATD to deliver a turnkey solution that was ready for production straight away.
